Dr. Keith Tillman
Dr. Tillman has relocated to Mooresville from the Washington D.C. area to join our team at Village Animal Hospital in July of 2009. He was drawn to veterinary medicine after graduating from the University of West Florida with a degree in Systems Science and having a great career in software development. Shortly after he and his wife, Deb, were married their Australian Shepherd, Emerson, was diagnosed with congestive heart failure and given a poor prognosis. Dr. Tillman was so deeply moved by his experiences with the doctors and nurses that took care of Emerson and the additional 6 months that veterinary medicine gave his family with their beloved pet, that some years later he took the plunge and applied to veterinary school.
After graduating from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine (Go Bulldogs!), he stayed at the school to complete an internship focusing on internal medicine, surgery, and critical care before joining Friendship Hospital for Animals in Washington D.C. He then practiced there for one year before deciding to move to the Mooresville area to be closer to Deb's family.
Dr. Tillman and Deb share their home with their dog Grace (an Australian Shepherd), a crazy Papillon mix named Bob, and their two cats, Kelley and Callie. |

Dr. Nora Turner Dr. Turner joined our team as a relief veterinarian in 2007 and has been a wonderful help and asset to our hospital. Her knowledgeable approach and caring bedside manner bring a smile to our clients (and we'd like to think our patients!) faces. Dr.Turner is a 1999 graduate of the University of Tennessee and has been working in the veterinary field for over 15 years. Doctor Turner is a new Mommy to a handsome son and she has a wonderful husband named Bill. She enjoys scrapbooking, hiking, and flying in her time away from work. She and Bill share their home with two cats, Bristol and Frank, and a 3 year old bulldog Torque. We are grateful for Dr. Turner's help and are very proud to call her a member of our team!

Dr. Tim Ulrich
Dr. Ulrich started working as a relief veterinarian for Village Animal Hospital in September of 2010 and we are SO lucky to have him. His positive attitude, great efficiency, and layed back nature have allowed him to fit right in here. He is a 1992 graduate of Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine and has lived and practiced in the Lake Norman area for most of the last 17 years. Dr. Ulrich's wife, Paula, is also a veterinarian and practices in Maiden, NC. Tim and Paula are the proud parents of three very active and busy teenaged children. Currently they have four cats (Patch, Peppermint, Chunky, and Munchkin). From 2000-2002 and again from 2008-2010, the Ulrichs worked in Africa with a Christian development mission agency, Christian Veterinary Mission - in Uganda from 2000-2002 and in South Africa from 2008-2010. They returned to the Lake Norman area in June 2010 to allow their children to complete high school and launch out to college. The whole family is very active in their local church, River Life Fellowship in Mooresville, in a number of various capacities and ministries. When not a church or being a taxi for his children (between the two, any spare time is pretty much consumed), Dr. Ulrich enjoys reading and spending time with his lovely wife and wonderful children. |
