Dr. Warren Moretz, the founder of Village Animal Hospital, spent his undergraduate years at Appalachain State University and graduated magna cum laude from the veterinary school at the University of Georgia. He was raised on a dairy farm in Boone, NC where he learned a love and respect for animals. He lives with his wife Greta, a labrador retriever named Eli, and Homer the cat. Dr. M and Greta have 3 grown children. He enjoys Carolina Shag dancing, Rhythm and Blues music, reading, gardening and throwing sticks for the dog. |

A native of Hickory, NC, Dr. Kari Hyatt is a graduate of North Carolina State University.
Kari currently resides in the Concord area with her 5 dogs (Peaches, Ellie, Scout, Dill, and Boo Radley) and 3 cats (Huckleberry Finn, Sydney, and Atticus), with an aspiration to someday add goats and chickens to her animal family! In her time away from the animal hospital she enjoys art, gardening, spending time with family and friends, and traveling. Please join us in extending a warm welcome to Dr. Hyatt as she joins our staff. Her knowledge, experience, compassionate nature, and easy going personality are sure to make her a valuable and welcome part of our team now and in the years to come! |
