Daisy

Technician Assistant

Daisy came to us in the spring of 2007, beginning as a kennel assistant while she decided on the focus of her college career. A recent high school graduate, Daisy came to us with experience in the grooming field as a bather and in operating her own lawn care business with the assistance of her father. Soon after her start with us, she made the decision to enter the Veterinary Technician program which she will be starting at Gaston College in the Fall of 2008.  Hardworking and dedicated to the task at hand, she has mastered her job duties in the kennel. Recently, Daisy has begun to also work as a veterinary assistant, a valuable learning  experience as she continues her career.  Absorbing all the knowledge she can, she is quick to adapt and assists in all areas of the hospital.  With quite of few pets of her own, including horses, Daisy enjoys barrel racing and riding in her time away from work.  She also enjoys pretty much any outdoor activity (the beach especially!) and spending time with her friends and family.

My Pets:

Daisy's family has 6 dogs: Five Labrador Retrievers, Dallas, Prissy, Mertal, Jefferson, and Clide as well as a poodle named Gracie.

They also have 5 horses: Spot, Sunny, Ace, Roper, and Wrangler.

Allison

Kennel Technician

Allison came to us in April of 2008, with the invaluable experience of working at another local kennel facility over the previous years.  A 2003 graduate of  Mooresville High School, she has also completed three years of study in Business Management at Western Carolina University. Her interest in the veterinary field brought her to us and we are very happy to have her! Allison has taken over the integral role of full time kennel technician, and has quickly made herself an important part of the Camp Village team. A fast learner, she is always ready for the task at hand and the opportunity to discover something new as she assists the technicians treating and medicating our boarders and hospitalized pets! Her comforting, soft spoken nature puts the animals in the kennels and those being treated in the hospital at ease. In her free time, Allison enjoys outdoor activities such as camping & hiking, as well as water sports on Lake Norman including skiing, wakeboarding, & kneeboarding!

My Pets:

Allison's family has two, year and a half old Yorkshire Terriers named Sam and Lola.
